Ex North British Railway class “M” ( LNER class “D31” ) at Eastfield MPD.
Photograph circa 1927.Built at Cowlairs,Glasgow in August 1890 and withdrawn in October 1935.
The locomotive behind appears to be a Class ‘J35″0-6-0 No.9615 “Verdun” built in 1899 and withdrawn in April 1935.
