The ATHINA – B beached on the East Beach at Brighton due to strong winds as she was trying to get to Shoreham to offload her cargo of pumice after a few days she was eventually refloated but was found to of broken her back and was them made a total write off .
She as re-floated and taken to Bloors Wharf,Rainham,Kent arriving on 23.2.1980 and then scrapped
