Andalucia Star was time chartered to Union Castle Line, painted mauve and converted into a mailship on the South Africa / Southampton run in the late 1970’s.
Blue Star was happy for UCL to paint her mauve but not allow a name change so she was one of few (possibly the only) UCL coloured ships not to have a Castle name.
